What to expect

Your First Appointment

Your dog’s first Emmi-pet appointment includes a full oral health consultation and initial ultrasonic teeth cleaning for £50.

During the consultation, I will assess your dog’s teeth and gums, discuss any areas of concern and explain what results you can realistically expect. Every dog is different, and improvements depend on factors such as age, existing plaque and tartar build-up, oral health and ongoing home care.

Your dog’s own Emmi-pet toothbrush head is included with the first appointment and will be used for all future treatments, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene.

Ongoing Maintenance

To achieve and maintain the best possible results, most dogs benefit from regular maintenance appointments every 6–8 weeks, which are £35 per session.

Some dogs with heavier plaque or tartar build-up may require more frequent treatments initially before moving onto a maintenance schedule.

Your dog’s toothbrush head will usually need replacing after approximately 3–4 sessions, or sooner if the bristles become worn or damaged. Replacement brush heads are charged separately and will be discussed with you when required.

Please remember that Emmi-pet is designed to improve and maintain your dog’s oral hygiene but is not a substitute for professional veterinary dental treatment where advanced dental disease is present.
